Life With a Host Family - An Excursion to Amish Country
His name was Norman, who was married to Mary White, who worked for the local church; they lived nearby campus in a cute little house surrounded by a decent neighborhood. I got to know them shortly after I returned from my Christmas break. First of all, I met Norman in a Chinese restaurant just across the Blair School of Music, which was part of the campus at Vanderbilt University and distinguished itself by an excellent reputation. We had a very nice conversation and I liked him at first glance discussing regarding a wide range of topics such as university, politics, and economics. I experienced numerous beneficial encounters with Norman which I still remember duet to their extraordinary character. My personal highlight turned out to be the unique excursion to the Amish people which is described as well in this article besides some selected events.
